Cinco de Mayo Sangrias

Sangrias are the perfect party drink.  It’s easy to mix up a batch early in the day or the night before and it’s ready when you are.  I also love it because it’s one of those drinks that you can sip on without worry of having too much alcohol too quickly!  Sangrias are so easy to make because you can literally use any beverages and fruit you have on hand.  This recipe is one of my favorites and it looks so pretty too!

Write a review
  1. 1 bottle Pink Muscato, Rose or Zinfandel
  2. 1 can light lemonade mix
  3. 1 Liter Diet 7-up
  4. 1 Lime
  5. 1 Lemon
  6. Maraschino Cherries
  1. Combine wine, lemonade mix and 7 up in one large pitcher (I use 2 large mason jars)
  2. Slice the lemon and lime and add to pitcher.
  3. Scoop about 10 cherries and 2 TSBP cherry juice into pitcher.
  4. Add 2 cups crushed ice and let sit in freezer or fridge until ready to serve.
  1. The longer it sits, the more the flavors blend together and gets even more delish!

Now I’m writing this now right after finishing mixing these up.  I will try and update this later with more pics when we serve it later with our Cinco de Mayo dinner!
