Easy Banana Date Bar Recipe

 Since my niece has presented with so many food allergies, we are constantly looking for new recipes that she can eat.  Since she has such a BIG list of allergies and many of the most common foods are on it, it usually has to be pretty simple.  This Banana Date Bar Recipe I came up with when I had a few bananas that really needed to be used.  They turned out way better than I thought and she gave them a thumbs up too! Best of all, they seriously are super easy!  I keep a supply of deglet noor dates pureed up for these kind of recipes now (FYI-taste awesome on Almond Butter Sandwiches too!)  Let me know how YOU like them! Easy 4 Ingredient Heart Healthy Snack

Ingredients
  1. 2 Bananas (older/brown) - Mashed
  2. 1/2 Cup Pureed Dates (I used Deglet Noor)
  3. 1 TBSP Ground Flax Seed
  4. 1 1/2 Cups Oats
Instructions
  1. Stir all the ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Spoon into mini muffin tins or in baking dish for bars
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until firm and browned
  4. Let cool and remove from pan.
