Skinny Chocolate Almond Joy Oatmeal

I like something a little sweet in the mornings.  Ideally it would be a slice of apple pie or a peice of coffee cake!  However, that is far from a healthy breakfast.  Instead, when I need a little sweet fix, I turn my traditional Crock Pot Oatmeal into Skinny Chocolate Almond Joy Oatmeal!  Yes, a super easy and healthy chocolately recipe for breakfast.  Now were talkin’

Skinny Chocolate Oatmeal

easy healthy chocolate oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 Cups Crock Pot Oatmeal (see link to recipe above)
  • 1 1/2 TBSP Cocoa
  • 1 1/2 TBSP Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup
  • 1 TBSP Light Vanilla Soy Milk
  • 1 TBSP Ground Flax Seed
  • Optional: Almond Joy Oatmeal (add unsweetened coconut and almonds)
  1. Stir all ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Serve

The flax seed in the recipe gives you a big omega 3 boost and the almonds give you a bit of extra protein for your day.  You won’t even feel like you are eating something healthy.  Dessert for breakfast.  Doesn’t get much better than that!

I use Torani Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup
