Spicy Teriyaki Tofu
Spicy. Sticky. Sweet. Simple.
Healthy yet so delicious and easy.
A perfect balance between Sriracha Chili Sauce and Teriyaki.
This tofu can be used in so many different recipes or is wonderful on it’s own. Tofu is one of the last things my husband was willing to try. I didn’t dare introduce it until I knew he would love it. This was it. He couldn’t stop eating it out of the pan. I would’ve used it in more recipes if he didn’t eat it all!
Spicy Teriyaki Tofu
Ingredients:
- Extra Firm Tofu
- Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
- Teriyaki Sauce (I used the Kona Coast Brand Marinade because it is thicker and lower in sugars and sodium than other brands)
Slice your drained tofu into thin pieces and place in a pan. Cover with Teriyaki sauce and Sriracha to your desired taste/heat level. I would say I used about a 1/2 TBSP. Brush evenly over top and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
In a frying pan, cook marinated tofu in oil until browned and edges are crispy. Remove from pan and let sit on paper towel to allow excess oils to drip off. Place back into pan and brush again with Teriyaki and Sriracha sauce. The longer it sits, the more flavor it will absorb.
Serve it up right away warm, or chill and serve cold. Wonderful either way.
Look for my other recipes with the leftovers coming soon!

I’m going to make this on Friday! =] I love tofu, but my husband was the same way. He wasn’t sure about it and then I made it for him and he loves it now!!!
Honestly…I think I would eat anything that was covered in these 2 sauces! Hope you love it. Be sure to check back over the next 2 days…I will have what I did with my leftovers.
On Fridays, I share my favorite food finds in a series called Food Fetish Friday – and I love this post so I’m featuring it as part of the roundup (with a link-back and attribution). I hope you have no objections and I look forward to seeing what you create next…
I saw this on Javelin Warrior. Loooks fantastic and I love to see tofu recipes. This sauce looks killer.
