Torani Sugar Free Syrup

I thought I should just give you a quick post as to what I am talking about when I use a flavored “sugar free syrup”.  I have been using the “Vanilla” flavored syrup in quite a few of my recipes, so I want to make sure you are looking for the right thing.  I prefer to use the brand “Torani”.  You will find it in the coffee section at most of the grocery stores.

Why I like it…

  • Well, most recipes I stumble upon call for vanilla and a sweetener like sugar.  This gives it to me in one easy pour, without having to use the sugar.
  • The taste is subtle when cooking and easily adds just the right amount of sweetness.
  • Plus, it’s easy to find and affordable (about 7 dollars for the large bottle).
  • A few sugar free varieties can be found on the shelf, but if you really want to get fancy, you can visit the Torani Website and order a ton of different sugar free flavors!

Don’t be afraid to think out of the box…It is definitely not just for coffee and cocktails! (although, it is really good for those too!)

**I am not sponsered by Torani, I just truly like using the syrups in my recipes =)

  1. What a great idea… Have never thought of using flavored syrups in recipes…although I don’t drink coffee anymore ~~ and when I did I only drank it black, I think I will have to try this… Thanks for the great idea.
